When Krishna says ChaturyaVarnam mya Srishtam it applies to the whole of mankind and not only to Hindus
Translation: "According to the three modes of material nature and the work ascribed to them, the four divisions of human society were created by Me. And, although I am the creator of this system, you should know that I am yet the non-doer, being unchangeable." Bhagavad Gita. 4.13 The meaning of the above sloka is that the 4 Varna are created by Shri Krishna (here ' I' is not used as a reference to the self but to the creator) and the division is based on Guna and Karma of the person . Every human being can be placed in either of the 4 categories and no one is left without a category. It doesn't matter if the person is Vedic, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Muslim or Atheist. Yes, that's true. The concept is universal. It applies on everyone, no matter if he is a man living in Sahara or Aboriginal women living in the wilderness of Australia.
